Solar Energy Cambodia (SEC) is
the specialist in designing and installing solar systems to
fulfill electricity needs of clients throughout Cambodia. In
recognition of our efforts to promote clean energy, SEC has
received a Clean Energy Award from the Ministry of Environment.
With its Mark registered at Ministry of Commerce, and business
Patent at a tax department SEC is a reliable provider of clean
energy systems in Cambodia.
Established in 2008, SEC now has 5 full-time sales persons,
office and administrative personnel and 10 professional
technicians. Over the years, we have built good contacts and
network systems with other institutions such as Don Bosco
Vocational Training School for human resource or technicians’
backup in case of obtaining large projects.
Regardless of clients’ locations, SEC has experienced
installation and maintenance teams of qualified technicians,
economic resources, and 2 pickup trucks, 10 motor-bikes as well
as all the necessary tools, equipment, generators and welders in
order to get the job done professionally. SEC prides itself in
its ability to reach the furthest and most remote locations, and
in implementing customer-based approaches to ensure the benefits
of renewable energy available to everyone, especially the rural
and disadvantaged groups in Cambodia.
SEC has extensive experience of over 14 years of dealing
exclusively in the field of Solar Energy. For instance, we have
so far provided and installed 2,000 Solar Home Systems around
Cambodia, and we have regular customers of more than 30
international and local NGOs that buy our solar electric systems
for schools, health clinics, rural small offices and
communities. They have projects and come to buy our solar
products every year.
The immense experience (since 1997) and reliable services that
it has provided to its nationwide customers give ESC the
confidence to proudly claim that “in Cambodia, nobody knows
about Solar Energy better than we do”.
Environmental concerns are also
part of SEC’s core values. Production and consumption of
electricity by solar systems does not adversely affect the
environment or contribute to global warming and climate change.
Solar electricity has been proven to be environmentally friendly
and economically useful and beneficial particularly for
households, healthcare centers and schools in rural areas of
Cambodia where access to the national grids are not available or
limited.
